How does the itinerary work?

PICKUP

Between 8:30 am and 9:00 am

We pick you up at your accommodation and, once the whole group is on board, head to the tour's departure point, where we go through the park checkpoint to have the voucher cleared. Further on, before we reach the dirt road, we make a stop so you can buy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.

FIRST LAGOON

The first swim of the day

We follow the dirt road until we reach the dunes, where the crossing over them begins, taking in the vastness of the Lençóis Maranhenses. It's about 30 to 40 minutes off-road to the first lagoon on the itinerary, where you enjoy the scenery and the crystal-clear water for the first swim of the day.

CANTO DE ATINS

Where the sea meets the Lençóis

Around noon, we head to Canto de Atins beach, where the sea meets the start of the Lençóis Maranhenses. After plenty of swimming and sun, we drive to the restaurant for lunch and a rest.

ATINS VILLAGE

The most famous village in the Lençóis

After the stop, we go straight to the most famous village in the Lençóis. In Atins, we stroll through the village among guesthouses and simple, rustic bars until we reach the famous beach bar facing Atins beach — where you can have a drink and enjoy the sea view.

SECOND LAGOON

The last swim, and the way back

To round off the day, on the way back we stop at the second lagoon, the last one on the itinerary, for one more swim and the final photos. Then we continue the drive back and drop you off at your accommodation in Barreirinhas.
