How does the itinerary work?

PICKUP

Departure at 8:30 am

Pickup at the accommodation — Amo Lençóis Hilux 4x4 with guests on board, ready to leave

We pick you up at your accommodation and then collect the rest of the group in the 4x4. With everyone on board, we go through the park checkpoint to have the voucher approved and, right after that, make a stop where you can buy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.

THE DRIVE

30 to 40 minutes on a dirt road

We drive along a dirt road through native vegetation for about 30 to 40 minutes to the main destination: Lagoa Azul, one of the most famous lagoons in Barreirinhas, right at the start of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

Once we arrive, it's time to swim, dive in and take photos. As the main lagoon on the circuit, it is surrounded by other lagoons that you can also enjoy during the stop.
