How does the itinerary work?

PICKUP

Departure at 8:30 am

Pickup at the accommodation — guests climbing into the 4x4 with the cooler already on board

We pick you up at your accommodation and, once the whole group is on board, head to Cardosa, a small village in Barreirinhas where you'll find the stretch of the Formiga River used for the float.

THE DRIVE

A stop to pick up the tubes

The drive is by 4x4, first on a paved road and then on a gravel road. We first reach the end point of the float, where we pick up the group's tubes, and from there continue a little further to the starting point.

1-HOUR FLOAT

The guide goes down with you, in the water

At the starting point, the guide explains how the float will work and gets into the water with the group: he swims down, steering your tube along the river and following the current. Some stretches are quite shallow and others deeper, but the whole route is calm — you can chat, enjoy the scenery and take photos along the way.
